TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A woman was arrested and a man detained following what started with a car chase, and ended with their cab pulled over on I-70 Thursday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says they believe a woman found in a cab was driving a rental car they pulled over for speeding on I-70 near California earlier in the afternoon. They say the woman started acting suspicious and took off -- troopers chased her, but lost the vehicle when it exited at Adams.
A short time later, Topeka Police reported stopping a cab on I-70 near Fairlawn with passengers matching the chase suspects description.
Police say the woman was arrested for fleeing. The man with her was being questioned.
