TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Capitol Federal savings presented the United Way of Greater Topeka with a rather significant gift Thursday.
Cap Fed campaign chairs Wendy George and Kimberly Sims, along with Chairman John Dicus, presented a check for more than $221,000 at Thursday's ceremony.
The check will fund various United Way services including affordable childcare and assistance in paying for utilities and rent.
Capitol Federal has donated money to the United Way each year since it opened.
