TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -CPR saved a young boy's life Saturday afternoon at Lake Shawnee.
The officers and first responders arrived on the west side of Lake Shawnee to find a two year old boy that had fallen into the water while playing along the edge of the shore.
Witnesses say a good samaritan performed CPR on the child and he began breathing again.
The child was transported to Stormont Vail by the AMR and treated for water in his lungs.
