TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A burglary report landed three people behind bars.
Topeka Police were called just before 1 pm Tuesday to a burglary in progress in the 2800 block of SW Mulvane. A witness told police three people left a residence carrying stereo equipment and electronics. The witness also provided police with a description of the suspects' vehicle.
A Shawnee County Sheriff's deputy spotted the suspect van outside a pawn shop at SW 17th and Washburn. The deputy assisted Topeka Police officers in arresting 48-year-old Donald Henderson, Jr. and 23-year-old Romeo Armstead on burglary charges.
A woman with them, 43-year-old Doreen Henderson, was booked on an unrelated warrant.
