TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--Results of a new poll show the approval rating for Governor Sam Brownback is falling.
The Topeka Capital-Journal reports the findings of the latest SurveyUSA poll show just 34 percent of Kansans approve of Brownback's job performance.
That's below President Barack Obama's approval rating - that stands at 43 percent.
The April survey was conducted with participation of 510 registered voters.
Kansas Democrats say the numbers show Kansans disapproval with Brownback's plans, namely, one to reduce income tax rates, when they say he should be restoring cuts to public education.
Brownback has not publicly responded to the survey results.
