Broken Breaker To Blame For Wabaunsee County Power Outage

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A broken breaker is to blame for a power outage affecting residents of Wabaunsee County Wednesday.

Officials with Westar Energy say a breaker blew out just after 5:30 p.m.

Some equipment had failed and needed to be fixed before power could be restored.

Power was successfully restored at 10:46 p.m.
