Break-In Suspect Caught On Surveillance

Junction City, KAN. (WIBW) -- A man police say broke into a business and stole from several company cars was caught on surveillance and now Junction City authorities are asking for the public's help in finding out who he is.

On July 17th at 6:30 AM, officers responded to the Waste Management Office on Elmdale Avenue because an alarm was going off.

Police found the front door glass of the business shattered and several vehicles on the property had also been broken into.

Investigators found the suspect clearly captured on the security footage and released a still photo of him to the media Friday.

The man is believed to be an Hispanic male, in his 20's, wearing a black t-shirt, light colored plaid shorts, and white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Junction City/Geary County Crime Stoppers at 785-762-TIPS or the Junction City Police Department at 785-762-5912. You can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward of up to $1000.
