TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- Teachers had dessert served in a different way Friday.
Students dished it up for them, to eat, but to wear!
Earlier this year, students at Wanamaker Elementary school were asked to raise money for the American Heart Association's "Jump Rope for Heart Program." Students who raised $100 or more could throw a pie at the teacher of their choice.
The students raised a total of $5,727 for the program. The school had to line up three teachers at a time because there were so many students who earned enough money to throw pies.
