TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__Kids lined the track at Susana Wesley United Methodist Church for a race they have been waiting for all year.
Boy Scouts of America Troop 478 held their annual Pinewood Derby race Saturday (01/12). The boys had fun shaping and decorating their cars, with the help of their families, to compete in the big race.
13's Chris Fisher emceed the event that had tons of kids cheering and celebrating as the cars raced down the track to the finish line.
The pinewood vehicles came in all different shapes, sizes and colors. There were cars that looked like pencils and some that looked like cheese, complete with mouse.
