Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - The need for blood continues during the holiday season and the American Red Cross is asking for your help. Every day, patients rely on the blood donated through the American Red Cross.
On Monday, November 26th, Washburn University is holding a blood drive from 8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Petro Allied Health Center.
Donors need to be 17-years-old and older, at least 110 pounds and in good health. A driver's license is required as well.
To make an appointment to donate, call 670-1950.
The supply starts getting scarce around the holidays when donors are spending time with family and friends and might forget to donate.
