MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Manhattan fire crews were out late fighting an overnight blaze on Poyntz Avenue.
Crews got the call at 1:45 a.m. Saturday (6/23), at 310 Poyntz Ave.
Manhattan Fire officials say crews made an aggressive interior attack at the Salvation Army building, getting it under control in 25 minutes.
Officials say the building suffered substantial smoke and heat damage. Loss estimates are not yet available, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
