TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Hundreds of people started their St. Patrick's Day weekend off with a hearty breakfast.

Texas Roadhouse hosted the Blarney Breakfast which benefits the Easter Seals Capper Foundation.

Celebrity servers such as Police Chief Ron Miller and Sheriff Herman Jones along with bag pipers and face painters were lending a hand to the good cause.

Servers dressed in green or white t-shirts were competing to see which team could get the most tips.

All of the food was donated by Texas Roadhouse. There were also raffle tickets that could be purchased for various items.

The Easter Seals Capper Foundation was founded on Christmas Day in 1920. They provide services to ensure people with disabilities and their families have the opportunity to live, learn, work and play in their communities.

This is the 19th year for the Blarney Breakfast.
