TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Knife-wielding men met in a fierce competition Saturday night at Washburn Tech.
It was all in good fun as bladesmiths demonstrated their skills on two by fours, on a free-hanging one-inch rope and by slicing apples.
Members of the the American Bladesmith Society also carved out time throughout the day to share skills and attend seminars on the art of making knives.
The annual Heartland Bladesmithing Symposium continues Sunday at Washburn Tech.
