TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--The Better Business Bureau is warning consumers about an online travel company claiming to be from Omaha.
They have issued an alert to consumers about Omaha Travel, an Internet travel company claiming to be from Omaha, Neb. and offering low price travel packages online.
Investigators have determined the addresses the firm claims to have in Omaha are phony. Consumer complaints reveal that the actual delivery of services is highly questionable and refund requested have not been paid yet.
The company has also failed to respond to the BBB's request to identify its location. They have also refused to explain why they are falsely claiming to be a BBB Accredited Business.
The BBB urges consumers to avoid the risk of doing business online when a physical address cannot be verified.
They say to report complaints about Omaha Travel to the BBB at bbb.org. Unresolved complaints will be reported to federal law enforcement authorities.
