BB Gun Mishap Leaves 3-Year-Old Injured
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police say a little boy was accidentally shot in the leg with a BB gun at a Manhattan home.
The incident happened January 9, 2013 around noon on Hartford Road.
An 11-year-old boy shot a three-year-old boy with a BB gun, according to police.
The accident was reported to police several days later on January 13, 2013 after the three-year-old was taken to Mercy Regional Health Center to have the BB removed because it was lodged in his leg, officials said.
Reports indicate that the boys are related.
