Woman Identified In "Suspicious" Death At Topeka Motel

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - An autopsy came back to determine how a woman died in a Topeka motel Friday afternoon.

The woman is identified as 39-year-old Lena Ann Keithley of Topeka.

The Shawnee County Coroner's office agreed to perform an expedited autopsy. At this time the cause of death is "undetermined."

As of Friday night, they were calling it suspicious.

Police were called around 1 pm Friday to the Topeka Country Club Motel, 3732 SW Topeka Boulevard. Maintenance workers discovered the body and alerted authorities.

Detectives were seen entering Room 41 of the motel wearing gloves and booties.
