OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW)-- A body was pulled from Melvern Lake Sunday evening after reports of a possible drowning earlier in the day.
The Osage County Sheriffs Office was called to Coeur D'Alene swim beach just after 4 p.m. Sunday on reports of a possible drowning.
Officials from the Osage County Sheriff's Office, Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks & Tourism, Melvern Lake Corp of Engineers, Osage County Fire District # 3, Melvern, Osage County EMS, and Coffey County Water Resuce all searched the lake.
At approximately 8:40 p.m. a body was recovered from the water.
Osage County Sheriff's Officials have identified the body as that of 37-yera-old Vincent Rice of Melvern.
His drowning has been ruled accidental. No other details have been released.
