TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - An Arthritis Walk around Lake Shawnee encouraged people to get up and get active Saturday morning.
Arthritis Foundation officials say they hope participants become part of a community that strives for better health and changes lives.
According to the organization, arthritis is the nation's leading cause of disability.
Funds raised today went to arthritis research, education and life improvement programs in communities across the country.
