TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__ Topekans gathered at the Aaron Douglas Art Park Saturday morning.
Art lovers turned out to celebrate the new featured artist, Topeka painter Lisa Adame, and to unveil her new artwork.
Organizers say Adame paints powerful portraits that capture the landscape, music and nightlife of the midwest in a vibrant explosion of color. Her work will be on display and available for purchase at the art fair.
