Argument Over Driving Habits Escalates Into Assault, Manhattan Man Says

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - An argument over driving habits quickly quickly turned into aggravated assault after one man allegedly brandishes a gun.

It happened Sunday at 3:38 A.M. in the 1500 block of Pipher Lane in Manhattan.

25-year-old Justin Barnes says he was walking down Pipher Lane with another man when he got into a verbal altercation with a driver going down that same lane.

Barnes told police the altercation was about the suspect's driving habits.

The driver then allegedly pulled a handgun from his vehicle and pointed it at him, Barnes said.

Police questioned the suspect, but no arrests were made.
