ROSSVILLE, Kan. (WIBW) - Farmers learned some tips and tricks Wednesday evening to help their crops grow.
Experts from Kansas State University met with area farmers in Rossville to discuss research they've been doing and answer any questions the farmers may have about their crops. It was part of the Kansas River Valley Experiment Field 2013 Fall Field Day.
Wednesday, they talked about how the growing season will finish up and even began looking to next year's crop rotation and variety selections.
This year's corn crops were also discussed, since the vegetable was slow getting planted and late snow storms made it tougher for the plant to grow.
