TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)-- New and experienced archeologists are getting a chance to dig into history off of Highway 24.
The 2012 Kansas Archeology Training Program is taking place in Topeka at US 24 and Menoken Road.
Researchers are digging up clues to how the Kansa Native American tribe lived and hunted.
The group chose the area because there is a Highway 24 road project by the site.
Anyone can join the two week program. Organizers say it is great for everyone.
