TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - It was music to the ears tonight in the White Concert Hall at Washburn University.
The annual high school showcase concert features Shawnee County's best voices.
Tonight's opening act was performed by the Washburn Singers.
Cair Paravel, Hayden, Seaman, Shawnee Heights, Silver Lake, Topeka High, Topeka West, and Washburn Rural High Schools also showed off their talents tonight.
The Deo Gloria Singers from Cornerstone Family Homeschool also made a special appearance.
The program was established to remember Stacie Beavers, a music therapist at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center.
Proceeds benefit the Stacie Beavers Memorial Fund, providing music scholarships at Washburn.
