All Accounted For After Missouri Dock Collapse

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV/WIBW) -- Missouri Highway Patrol officials say everyone is accounted for following a boat dock collapse.

It happened in Benton County, at Sterett Creek Resort & Marina on Truman Lake.

Thunderstorms developed in the area Saturday afternoon (7/7), and it's believed strong winds, or a microburst could have caused the collapse.

Just after 5:30 p.m., Missouri Highway Patrol said four people were still missing. Those people were accounted for by about 8 p.m.

Six hundred people were without power in the area.
