(From Media Release)
With the first phase of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) opening on October 1st, many Americans are still not aware what impact the Insurance Marketplace may have on their health insurance. The Shawnee County Health Agency (SCHA) is looking to help answer some of those questions, with two open community meetings to explain, and answer questions about ACA.
The two sessions will each be held at the main SCHA location, 1615 SW 8th in the auditorium. Trained staff will be on hand to help answer any questions and explain the next steps individuals should go through in the process.
Sessions will be held:
Thursday, September 26th at 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, October 8th at 10:00 a.m.
