TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- 21st Street east of Wanamaker Road was closed for several hours Tuesday afternoon following an accident involving a motorcycle.
The driver of a car was traveling south on Ashworth, across from Target, and pulled onto 21st street, according to police.
The driver of the car didn't see a motorcycle traveling east along 21st and the two collided.
At first, officials thought the motorcycle driver, who wasn't wearing a helmet, suffered serious injuries. Lt. Chuck Haggard with the Topeka Police Department tells 13 News the motorcyclist's condition has since improved and his injuries were considered non-life threatening.
