TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A word of mouth campaign by employees from one local business, will go a long way in helping the neediest Capital City residents.
Wolf Construction, Inc presented the Topeka Rescue Mission with a semi trailer full of canned goods, coats, baby clothes and other basic items needed this winter.
Chad Shafstall, a Field Safety Representative for Wolf Construction, said he started with a pick up load, which turned into a conversion van and now a semi trailer full of much needed items this holiday season.
The construction company also raised more than $2,700 for the mission.
