TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A group of gifted students bring holiday cheer to our four legged friends.

For the past two weeks students from Pauline South, Wanamaker and Farley Elementary Schools Gifted Programs have been collecting donations for the our little furry friends at Helping Hands Humane Society.

Today, they presented the shelter with boxes of treats, food and toys.

The students were treated to a behind-the-scene tour of the shelter during their visit, to thank them for the gifts.
