TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A stabbing in Junction City has sent 4 victims to area hospitals, with one in critical condition.
Around 2:25 am the Junction City Police Department responded to the intersection of 6th and Jackson in reference to a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers found four victims suffering from stab wounds,
two of the victim's appeared to have suffered serious, possible life threatening wounds and two others suffered minor injuries.
The altercation evolved over comments made by the suspect towards the females.
Police took a man into custody at the scene and he was questioned at the police department. After interviewing witnesses to the incident, detectives arrested 34 year-old Jason Babylon of Junction City and charged him with four counts of aggravated battery.
Babylon is being confined at the Geary County Jail without bond pending his first court appearance in the Geary County District Court.
All the victims were taken to Geary Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries. One victim was life flighted to Stormont Vail in Topeka for further treatment of his injuries and he has been listed in critical condition.
Police say the parties involved did not know eachother.
