TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- The Fugitive Task Force has arrested the 9th suspect in the murder of Topeka attorney Natalie Gibson last month.
Shawnee County Sheriff Lt John Ostenson tells 13 News that17-year-old Dwayne Richey of Lawrence was arrested around 10 Friday morning at a residence in SW Topeka.
Otenson says the Fugitive Task Force acted on a tip and took Richey, who offered no resistance during the arrest.
5 adults and 4 juveniles face charges in the murder of Gibson and the wounding of her roommate at their home back on July 21. At this point, 4 suspects are scheduled to appear in court next Thursday.
The fugitive task force is made up of Shawnee County Sheriff, Topeka Police, State Parole officers and U.S. Marshalls.
