911 Service Restored In Northeast Kansas Counties

SHAWNEE COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - 911 service has been restored to all four counties affected by an outage that started Monday afternoon.

The outage was reported around 1:45 p.m. Monday. It was reported to CenturyLink, the service provider in the community.

911 service for Jefferson, Pottawatomie and Shawnee Counties returned to normal just after midnight Tuesday morning.

Jackson County service returned around 1:00 a.m.
