They were arrested two weeks ago trying to take 33 children into the Dominican Republic.
Judge Bernard Saint-Vil finished question the Americans on Wednesday. Now he must send his recommendation to the prosecutor. The prosecutor may agree of object, but the judge has the final authority.
It is unclear whether or not the charges will be dropped.
