Preliminary Hearing Set For Man Accused Of Holding Dover Couple Hostage

TOPEKA, Kansas (WIBW) -- A preliminary hearing for the man accused of holding a Dover couple in their home is delayed.

The proceeding for 23 year old Jesse Dimmick is pushed back to February 19th to give his attorneys more time to prepare.

Dimmick faces charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and attempting to elude police.

He ended up at Lindsay and Jared Rowley's home and was shot by police after they safely get out.
