Revenue Department Seizes Assets Of Topeka Business

Topeka (WIBW) - The Kansas Department of Revenue has seized all assets from a Topeka business.

KDOR says Padilla Electric, 315 NE Wilson, owned by Stephen Padilla, did not pay state retail sales and withholding tax.

Padilla's business has been closed and seized assets will be sold at a public auction.

KDOR says Padilla failed to pay $111,709.29 in sales tax from February 2004 to August 2006. In addition, they say the business didn't pay $12,798.93 in withholding taxes from 2003 through 2005.
