KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) _ Wyandotte County officials have endorsed both proposals for a casino in the county.

The action by the county's Unified Board of Commissioners Thursday evening moves the decision on which casino will be built to the Kansas Lottery Commission.

Kansas Entertainment LLC, a partnership of Kansas Speedway and the Cordish Company, has proposed building a $387 million casino next to the speedway.

Penn Hollywood Kansas LLC's proposal is for a $330 million casino and hotel next to the Schlitterbahn Vacation Village.

The Lottery Commission will begin negotiating contracts with the developers Wednesday. After that, the Lottery Gaming Facility Review Board will hold hearings to select a developer.
