Kansas Women To Be Honored For Military Services

Two women from Kansas will be honored for their pioneering military service during World War II.

Senator Pat Roberts announced that the senate approved legislation to award the Congressional Gold Medal to women airforce service pilots.

Roberts says he is proud that two Kansans are among this patriotic group of women who were the first to train and fly military aircraft during and after World War II.
