Gas Prices On the Rise

Gasoline prices have jumped upward.

Gas prices have been on the rise again just before Memorial Day weekend when a lot of people plan on traveling.

Gas at Kelly's on Wannamaker was $2.39 for regular and $2.49 for unleaded plus.

Across the street at BP, prices were about the same with regular at $2.27 and premium at $2.67.

Crude oil hit a six month high this week, topping $62 a barrel after the government reported another drop in oil supplies. That's translating into higher prices at the pump.

Gas prices have gone up every day in May and now average $2.33 per gallon nationwide.
