Tulip time in Topeka is almost over! The first Tulip Time Festival continues on the tradition of Jerold Binkley, who for more than twenty years planted thousands of the colorful flowers in his gardens.
Now, you can see 24,000 tulips and 7,000 daffodils planted throughout Old Prairie Town at the Ward Meade historic site, as well as Lake Shawnee, Gage park and Matrot Castle.
Admission is five dollars to seven dollars for the Tulip Time tour.
