New Law Says Left Lane Only For Passing

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ Kansas has a new law requiring motorists to stay out of the left lane except for passing.

Now motorists are limited to using left lanes on multi-lane highways for passing or exiting, except in cities.

Violators will be given warnings until July 2010, then police could ticket them.
