Fabian Hackett is in critical condition at Shriner's Hospital for Children in Cincinnati.

A web site updating his condition said doctors began skin grafts on his right leg Monday using donor skin from his chest. They plan to finish up the right leg Tuesday using skin from his chest and scalp. The web site says Fabian did well in the surgery.

Fabian suffeered third degree burns over more than half his body just over a week ago.
