FORT RILEY, Kan. (AP) _ A 1st Infantry Division unit that returned from Iraq last fall is getting new equipment as it starts rebuilding after its deployment.

On Tuesday, the first two of 30 new Black Hawk helicopters are set to arrive at Marshall Army Airfield at Fort Riley. The helicopters are the ``M'' model, replacing an older ``L'' version.

The aviation brigade has about 2,700 soldiers. It spent a year in Iraq from 2007 to 2008 flying combat and support missions.

While the brigade was gone, the airfield saw significant improvements to the runway, aprons and other facilities.

The brigade eventually will have 116 helicopters assigned at Fort Riley.
