Zoo Education Department to Offer Fun Club

The Topeka Zoo will be having Fun Club on Friday, May 1. Children will be read a story by Deputy Chief Gary Herman of the Topeka Police Department, do a fun craft or game and visit with a keeper or an animal visitor.

Visitors to the Topeka Zoo enjoy a day with the animals.

TOPEKA, Kan. - The Zoo Education department at the Topeka Zoo will be having Fun Club on Friday, May 1, 2009. Program will start at 10:30 a.m. at the zoo. Children will be read a story, do a fun craft or game and visit with a keeper or an animal visitor. Deputy Chief Gary Herman of City of Topeka Police department will be reading a story to the children.

Friends of the Topeka Zoo and City of Topeka provide financial and material support for many of the programs offered to the public while visiting the Topeka Zoo.
