WU Students Showcase Knowledge, Talents

Some Washburn University students used performances to promote some noteworthy achievements.

A string quartet presented the works of Dmitri Shostakovich and gave a presentation on the musician's life.

More than 90 students participated in this year's Washburn Apeiron.

The event showcases student work in a variety of areas from music and math to science and societal behavior. One presentation highlighted the relaxing benefits of a Rubik's cube, while another demonstrated how videogames motivate learning.
