TOPEKA - New revenue projections for the state are due out Friday. That forecast could foreshadow some huge cuts in the budgets of quite a few state agencies.
Senate President Steve Morris says the projections from a group of economists and budget analysts could total a quarter of a billion dollars.
Lawmakers have already approve the new $13 billion dollar budget for fiscal year 2010. But that would need to be re-worked if the projections change dramatically. Last month alone, revenues fell $50 million below the expectations.
