Busch told The Hutchinson News that Tom Hogan, who resigned this week as public works administrator, is the subject of an investigation. The commission suspended Hogan last month and accepted his resignation Tuesday.
Hogan did not return a call from The Associated Press left on his home phone Friday. County Attorney Curtis Campbell, who is leading the investigation, was out of the office Friday and did not immediately return a message left by the AP.
Hogan also resigned Tuesday his seat on the Cimarron City Council. The council then hired him for a part-time city recycling job.
