KDOT said in a news release Friday that the underlying map appears on the screen but the road condition colors and work zone icons appear only after a long wait. KDOT staff is working to fix the problem.
Meantime, road conditions are available by calling 511 anytime from any phone in Kansas or 1-866-511-KDOT (5368) from anywhere in the U.S. The 511 line provides news for the Kansas Turnpike and any interstate, U.S. or state highway in Kansas and Nebraska.
A list of road closings can still be accessed on KDOT's Web site.
