Library Holds Public Comment for Four Restricted Books

TOPEKA, Kan. - Restricting access to four sex-related books was once again the topic of conversation at the Topeka and Shawnee County Library board meeting Thursday night.

Many showed up for public comment. It was the opposite of last month's meeting, with the majority of the crowd thanking the library board for restricting access to those books.

There were a few people on hand asking them to reverse their decision.

Still no word on how those books will be restricted. They could be put behind the counter. No decision was made Thursday.

The four books in question have been consistently checked out ever since they were banned.
