Sen. Brownback's Home Burglarized

Burglars stole almost $10,000 worth of items from Sen. Sam Brownback's Topeka home.

The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office reports it happened last week.
They say $9,800 worth of stuff was taken from the house. Some of the stolen items include a Sony camera, an Apple desktop computer, and more than $7,000 worth of jewelry.

The Topeka Capital Journal reports Sen. Brownback's wife, Mary Brownback, came home Thursday to find the items missing.

The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
