Manhattan City Commissioners have approved adding three issues to their April 7 ballot. KMAN radio reported Wednesday that the questions came from research in the community into why the Quality of Life measure failed to pass.
The Manhattan Mercury reported Wednesday the three issues include replacing the City Park pool, replacing both the Northview and CiCo park pools, and the construction of a new Education and Visitor's Center for Sunset Zoo.
If all issues pass in the April election, residents would see a sales tax increase from 7.3 percent to 7.55 percent.
