Woman Identified in Fatal Accident Near Topeka

Authorities have identified the woman who died in an accident near Topeka Tuesday night. The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office says it happened at 29th and Auburn road.

They say a passenger car driven by Patricia Dodson failed to stop at the stop sign for eastbound traffic. Upon entering the intersection the passenger side of the car was struck by a truck driven by Kenrick Braden, who was northbound on Auburn road.

The passenger of the car, 83-year-old Olive Nadine Tice, was transported to the hospital. Ms. Tice died prior to arrival at the hospital. Both Dodson and Braden were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation.
